SCHOLARS
Grant Executive Assistant
Jenny Culnen serves as the Foundation’s Grant Executive Assistant, supporting the senior staff, Grants Program Team, and Board of Trustees, also assisting with other points of the Foundation’s day-to-day functions. Ms. Culnen joined the Foundation in January 2021.
Prior to joining The Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, Ms. Culnen was the Administrative Assistant at the State Justice Institute (SJI), a Federally funded non-profit organization that provides grants and scholarships to the court systems in the United States. Ms. Culnen assisted and managed the grants and scholarships program at SJI while providing support to the Executive Assistant.
Ms. Culnen graduated from GMU with a B.A. degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
Since 1991, Loudoun Hunger Relief has been a leading non-profit providing food assistance to the residents of Loudoun County, ensuring access to nutritious foods for families in need.
The Fairfax County Public Schools Health and Medical Sciences and the Claude Moore Scholars in partnership with Inova Health System are preparing students by putting their medical skills to test by simulating full-scale mock disasters.
Claude Moore Scholar – Jeff Rivera is a recent graduate at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, majoring in Radiation Sciences and graduating in May 2019. Jeff’s concentration within his major was Radiography, with a sub-specialization in Cardiac Catheterization for heart imaging.
Claude Moore Scholar – Lexi prepared for a healthcare career by majoring in Radiation Services at Virginia Commonwealth University, with a concentration in Radiography and a sub-specialization in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning.
